Open Mic Night at Grounds for Coffee
Join us for our monthly Open Mic night at Grounds for Coffee in Morgan! This is an opportunity for people of all ages and skill levels to come share their talents. We strive to provide a casual environment for musicians, poets, and artists to share their original or cover work. This is a free event, and food and drinks are available for purchase. Open mic is held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6-8 pm.
Summer Ukulele Workshop
Learn to strum your favorite songs with us this summer! All ages and skill levels are welcome. In this weekly class, you will learn the basics of ukulele playing including essential chords, strum patterns, single note melodies, and more! Group classes will be held Monday mornings in June & July from 11 am - 12 pm at the Scotsman Center. Bring your own Ukulele or order one from us at a discounted price! Parents who sign up with their children will pay tuition for a single student.
Tuition: $120 for full summer (9 classes)

Summer Rock Band Camp 2024
We are very excited to announce our first annual Summer Rock Band program in 2024! This program is intended for kids aged 12-18 who want to learn to practice and perform in a real band. Our program is headed by Morgan Thomas, who has many years of experience performing music with bands of all genres, including national and international touring, and has been teaching music in Utah for over 10 years. You do not need to be an experienced musician to join the program, however basic knowledge and ability to play your instrument is required. Bands will meet for an hour long practice once a week on Tuesday mornings from June 4th to August 6th. During the course of the summer, bands will learn to play 4-5 songs from their chosen genre, with a concert performance at the end to showcase what they learned. Students will learn essential skills such as technique, ear training, communication, effective practice, music theory, and most importantly: TEAMWORK! Students will be learning in a fun, safe, and professional environment at the Scotsman Center in Mountain Green, UT.
