About Us

Morgan Thomas picked up the guitar for the first time at 11 years old, and he hasn't put it down for a day since then. He started teaching at the age of 18, and has since taught hundreds of students in Northern Utah. He began teaching lessons in Mtn Green in 2017 at the Scotsman Center. He is extremely excited and grateful for this new opportunity to grow his business and include other teachers in the new music school. His intention is to build community and love for the arts in the Morgan Valley.

Mountain Music Academy’s mission is to provide music teachers with a clean, professional teaching space to use for lessons and recitals. To provide advertising in the community in order to give teachers the opportunity to grow their schedule as much as they would like to. To encourage teachers to reach their full potential as instructors and musicians. To provide teachers with resources such as sheet music, lesson books, and music equipment.

Mountain Music Academy offers private music lessons to the communities of Mountain Green, Morgan, Huntsville, South Weber, and Ogden Utah. Instruments include: Guitar, Piano, Voice, Violin, Bass, Mandolin, and Banjo. We will also be offering group lessons and rock band programs, as well as composition, theory, and performance workshops in the near future.
